Hello O ... I think....

Well the slippery egg white CM is here and I don't think bd will be happening tonight, depends on when DH gets home....

I should probably call the clinic on Monday since I have been off the clomid for a couple of months since finishing my last dose, see what to do next.

Oh also the other day the Dr that watched my pg's, Dr O was on TV last week to raise fertility awareness and is trying to have fertility treatments covered in Canada, he says that the government should not ignore those that have a had a hard time trying to have a family and that it is not the couples fault that they can not conceive a baby without the help of medicine.

as Lil O comes running over to show me that he can stomp his feet then he runs off......comes running back repeating momma momma watch this as he shows that he jumps and off he goes only to come back a few more times but the last one made me smile and laugh so.... as he puts his hands on his hips and then shakes his little booty and hips all over with the biggest smile ever on his face....

Yes momma is watching as you learn all these new things... My little boy is growing and oh how I love this boy so so much.

Vet update...

and so it is CANCER, Misty has cancer not even a dog can escape it, It is on her spine.

DH just spoke with the vet again and they told him she is in a lot of pain and so he (dh) made the decision to put her down does not want her to suffer anymore then she has to. They said they can do it tonight, off went dh to hold his girl one last time...EDIT**(The vet told dh that he was amazed that Misty was still able to stand and move around because her spinal cord was pretty much gone, she was a strong dog I will give her that)

Yeah Misty and I never really got a long well but I still did not want to see her suffer like she was.

Rest in peace Misty girl.

Our dog is sick

DH feels guilty... I will be honest I have not been the best dog mommy (I am not a dog person, she was dh dog) I will tell you I have never really trusted her, she is to wild for my liking and well dh did not train her well.

I grew up with all types of dog and as I got older I have discovered I am not much of a dog person anymore (I have said that already) For the last couple of weeks Misty (our dog) has not been able to stand on her front paw and she yelps in pain all the time, it is sad to see her like this. The vet has done multiple blood tests and nothing other then low white cell count and low thyroid then they did another and her white cell count was lower.....they were thinking cancer plus she has lost lots of weight. Well Misty spent the night at the vet hospital so they can watch her and do x-rays (which will cost us $2500.00 on top of the $300.00 already spent) they saw some abnormal stuff and have to do more tests... We are now waiting.....

Dh last night said he feels like he is going to have to put his girl down he feels bad but he says she is a dog and he now has a family to take care of and we can not afford to pay out for the outrageous cost for a Vet. I told him that she is till like a member of the family to him (I will admit not much to me, she has snapped at me and growled at the boys a few times. She is not around the boys and I) I really don't know what I am trying to post here because sad but true I will not miss her much but I know dh will.....
Also I believe she'd be in a better place because dh works lots and so she never gets and walks and hardly ever gets to come in the house because I do not want her around the boys so she is stuck in a dog kennel all day not big enough to run in and it is not fair to her at all.

Don't get me wrong I do not wish Misty ill or death but she is not doing well...and she has not had the greatest life in the last 6yrs...not the kind of life a dog should have.

Hmmm ... Yup body is off

AF arrived a week early, I started to spot when I thought it should of been the O fairy but Noooo it was af making her way.

No cramps this time which is good, really good.

Well on to next month.

What a great day today!

We, Dh myself and the boys all went to Bragg Creek today. Nice little drive boys did great Ri slept all the way while Lil O fought to stay awake and only fell asleep as we arrived..lol go figure..lol

We grabbed some lunch sat at a picnic table & ate. I then put together a little helicopter that my mum bought the boys and Lil O and I played with it (wish I got some photos but dh was holding Ri) Lil O was laughing in delight as I pulled the string and up went the helicopter and off Lil O went chasing it yelling "I get it, I get it momma" then he falls flat on his face. I just said to him "Oh WIPE OUT" he looked at me and then a silly little grin goes across his face gets up wipes his hands on his coat and runs for the helicopter, brings it back to me saying "again again".

Later we went over to a little stream and I was trying to show Lil O how to throw rocks in the water....well...the rocks at 1st went everywhere but the water then he started to hit just before the water and then watch the rock roll into the water (sometimes hs was lucky and a splash would happen) He kept signing for more rocks so we went looking and daddy pointed out one rock and I at the same time pointed to another...would you not know it they were both a good sized rock for him to carry and well Lil O wanted to carry both all by himself and that was something to see....lol...He was getting frustrated because one would keep slipping out of his arms. While he was showing his frustration dh and I were LOL so hard LIL O did NOT want any help what so ever.... Dh caught a video of it on his phone I will try and post later as with some photos)

It was a great day, not very often dh takes the day off and we all do something together..

Family time well spent.

I think Lil O is getting use to the water...YEAH!

We went swimming with gramma and Papa and he was having a blast, he was all laughs and giggles till I dunked him..lol . He was back to smiles a few minutes later that is after he scowled and tried to dunk me.

Here we go again

head bumps that is...Ri has finally started to pull himself up on things and well his balance is still not the greatest. I have being hearing thumps then a pause and a cry a lot in the last couple of days. Lil O has even started to try and protect his brother from falling, as soon as Ri has pulled himself up Lil O is right behind him with is hands out to catch him if he falls (I need to get a shot of this..lol) I have a video of Ri pulling himself up just need to upload it (with the many others that I am falling behind on)

Just when I thought I would not

spend more money, dh comes along and says that one of his clients wants to know if I would take photos of the houses she is selling (she is a real estate agent). I then tell dh that I do not have the proper lens for that, he said go buy it. I said it is a $600.00 or more for this lens, his response.....Well she says she has lots of houses for sell and knows others that may be interested too so buy it...

two things:

This scares me (not so much not that I have had time to think about it..lol) I just get nervous when I go to take photos for people I do not know...lol

Spending so much on a lens is well scary and that is really not to expensive either....

I am going to Bite the bullet I will go buy it today since it looks like I will be taking photos of a house on Monday...YIKES!

I sure hope I get the number of houses to pay for this lens

Well she is back

AF was trying to break through hard this morning but I beat her with a dose of Midol....take that you witch!

This was my 5th month, last dose of clomid for a couple of months. DH and I really need to time things better we have been OFF in the bd department, we NEED to get back in the grove of things.

I sniped the nipple head off in front of Lil O. He look a bit confused at first then I gave him his milk with the sippy spout, his brow scrunched up and looked at me and said nooooo I said yesssss so drink your milk I put it on the counter and went to give Ri his milk. Lil O took his milk sat in his chair gave me one last look and leaned back and drank his milk..... I was impressed.....ok shocked. The last time I tried to have him not use his nipple (I did not snip the top off) he just flat out refused to drink. It has been 1week now and he has not looked back.

Yeah April............

From having no snow on the ground 2days ago and near 20c, yesterday it started to snow and is now -11c (12f) I am tired of the snow. Yup it is April.

Disapointed....& when will I learn....

I have ask someone to go with me to swim with the boys every Wed. morning at 10:30am for 45min to 1hr because Lil O needed to get use to the water (he freaks at swimming lessons, so I thought get him use to the pool and go thru some of the lessons with him) well that person said yes and well out of the 5times this person has only gone with me once the 1st time since then has always had something else to do, so much for the commitment to me and the boys. When they canceled on me last week they promised to come this week and the following. It is Wednesday today and I am going alone with just the boys because they have plans again......guess they forgot the promise, it really disappoints me and then I get upset with myself because I really should know better then to rely on someone else. I understand thing pop up and you need to deal with it but every Wednesday? Why can you not pay bills or go shopping another day last time I checked there was 7 days in a week.

Just getting a little vent out.

Off to swimming I go.

and not for what your thinking........... it is for my camera, I posted on the photography board that I am on at 2Peas about having some dust or hair or something in my camera not lens and one mentions a Rocket Blower (I have never heard off) and then another mentioned that she heard of others using the snot nose thingies. So I hunted mine down, I never used it on my boys so why not try it right? Well I am doing the jiggy here because it worked AWESOME! Saves me from sending my camera in for cleaning and me having to part with it.

Boys went to swimming lessons again

and again Lil O cried or said NO to anything the instructor wanted him to do and just clung on to me. Before we got into the water she had us put lifejackets on the kids and as soon as Lil O's was on he started to cry (yeah it was cold an wet, I will give him that) but as we walked into the water he cried and then the instructor want them to float on front for a little bet, he had nothing I SAY nothing to do with it just cried and screamed nooooooo. So fine I just let him stand an watch the other kids do it (hoping he'd then try...NOT) Now we move into the deeper part of the pool and again we needed to practice floating, well again Lil O would not try....mommy is getting frustrated at this point and trying not to show it... Later the instructor came up and said maybe he is just not a water baby or even sometimes if he was ever scared in the water that it put the fear into him. I said well nothing has ever scared him in the water and when he is not in class he is fine he will blow bubble float on front and back but for some odd reason he wants nothing to do with the swimming lessons...

When we were done DH was sitting waiting for Ri's lessons to start (same instructor) so I told him that next week he takes lil O in and maybe, hopefully he will do better and not have mommy to cling to.

Afterwards as Lil O and I were waiting for Daddy and Ri to change he was playing on some rocks they have indoors and kept telling me click cheese basically telling me to take photos of him....so I shot away.

Owie owie owie.....

Why does it have to hurt so much..... I am O'ing and it started when I went to bed last night and I tell you I got no sleep, yes I could take something but that can affect the whole fertilization thing so I suffered.

Also I do not know why but the back of my neck and my jaw are very sore, I open my mouth and it hurts my neck????

OH OH OH and I received my Speedlite yesterday and waiting for the batteries to charge was like forever..... and I have not really had a chance to play with it yet...

It is snowing today surprise surprise...lol caused lots of accident this morning then it stopped warmed up and melted the snow and guess what It is SNOWING yet again.

More money spent.....

I bought a Speedlite/external flash for my camera and some extension tubes plus a white balance filter cap these things are not to cheap I tell ya. Now waiting is the hard part I am a little girl in the candy shop with all this camera stuff around me...lol

Good thing DH supports my addition.............

Foot + Nose =

Yup Ri's 1st bloody nose all thanks to Big Bro, not intentionally they were both on the floor and legs were going crazy and well Lil O lost control.....Ri got the brunt of it.

He was back to all smiles a few minutes later.

I asked my oldest "Lil O" to get a toy for Ri to play with and I went to see what to make for supper. I turn to see what they are up to and well he got his brother some toys, the whole toy box..lol (sorry for the bad shot camera was on wrong setting and I had to move fast before he ran)

I took the shot and then he does this, so of course I had to take another quick shot.

who screamed and cried through out his swimming lesson.....

We started swimming lessons on Mar 16th and he wanted nothing to do with it. I thought maybe he wanted daddy so we switched (Ri's lesson was next) nope that did not work he wanted mama but did not want to swim. Everyone kept looking at us I felt small...lol but hey he is only 2 right.

When his lesson was done we sat and watch Ri with daddy and he was happily splashing away till daddy dunked him, he was not impressed and then daddy did it again oh let me tell ya...lol he was fine after no more dunking.

Will we (lil O and I ) waited he played in the little wadding pool part and what do you know he was letting help him float on his back and front and he even blew bubbles...go figure right.

So this last Wednesday I went to the pool with both boys and granma (my mum) she held Ri will I tried (key ward TRIED) to work with Lil O, once again he did not want to do anything but play with the water that was spraying out of the pool. I just let him play and get used to the surroundings and hopefully he will start to cooperate more at lessons. Swimming lessons are every Sunday and I plan on going swimming every Wednesday at the parent & Tot pool time to get him use to the water.

Well it is about time

She showed her ugly face! (I am talking AF) She made herself known last night, can we say MIDOL take me away.....ahhhh...it did, plus a little massage from dh helped too..lol

23 days late, I will not deny that I was kind of hoping for a little miracle but I know all to well not to get my hopes up.

Here is to another month.

Also I am a year old as is Ri. Ri had his party on the weekend I will post photo in a bit.

Ri is ONE!

I can not get over how fast this year has gone by, my baby is one today.

He says Mama, Dada has started to do the army crawl and still rolls all over the place to get to where he wants.He thinks it is funny when he touches big Bro's toys that are all lined up perfectly and laughs when Lil O gets upset. I think I have t-r-o-u-b-l-e on my hands.

We went to the Dr yesterday for both boys:

We checked over Ri 1st because I knew Lil O would freak so by doing Ri 1st he'd see what was going on and not be to upset when it became his turn, he did great. Ri's weight is 18 1/4 lbs, height is 75cm (22.5inches) his Birth weight ~ 1960 grams (4lbs 5.1oz), Length ~ 41.5cm (16.5inc)
The weigh scale scared him a bit when the Dr put him on it and moved the scale part of it. Other then that he did great.

Lil O's weight 28lbs, height is 95cm (28.5inches)
at birth he was: 4lbs 3.5oz (1931g), length: 17 1/4 inches (45cm)

As for AF she is still MIA. I went to go for a blood test yesterday since I had to go for my thyroid check from my family Dr the Fertility Dr sent /faxed the lab for a pg test and do you think the lab could find it...Nope...so I tried calling the Clinic a few times but all I got was the voice mail, got to LOVE voice mail....so I did not get the pg test. I started to spot a bit last night so I thought AF was coming but NOPE not here yet.

My next challenge for baby

is a MIA AF, she is gone, disappeared, left, nowhere to be found...
I did not mark down when she last came but I am pretty sure is was like the 1st week of Feb. No I am not pg, you need to bd on time for that..lol and that is another thing I don't think I O'ed either and if I did it was really late (I had O like pains on the 8th).
I am going to call the fertility clinic on Monday because they should now since I had to do another cycle day 3 blood test and then I will know for sure how late I am.

I have a copy cat

and he bringing attention to the things I don't realize that I do:
- Like standing with my hands on my hips (at 1st I did not know where he got that and then I caught myself.)
- Standing with my legs crossed (my mum does this too)
- saying "Stop it please" (Lil O repeats STOP IT often to Ri)
- No no no nooooo
- saying sonny boy or son (Lil O calls out mama mama I respond yes sonny boy or son)

The words just pour out his mouth so fast now that he amazes me.

The boys start swimming lesson on Sunday DH is actually coming with, he will go in with one of the boys most likely Ri because Lil O is all about the mama again. Today Lil O was crying over something and DH went in to see what was up and was hugging him, well when I walked into the room lil O pushed daddy aside and ran to me...lol.

I have been pretty busy with photos lately, all edits done and I just finished one order and waiting for another order to come in. Sure can take up a lot of time.
I did received a compliment tho, DH saw the mom of the senior/grad photos I took of her son at one of the spa's he massages at and she said she was very happy with the photos and having a hard time picking and then the sister said "yeah they turned out really good my brother actually looks good"...lol ah siblings.

When he starts you can not stop him..

Lil O has picked up more words then I can count. He copies what I say even on the TV he copies and dances around when he gets it right..lol (good thing I do not swear, never have)

Ri well no crawling yet but he sure gets around doing the back scoot and rolling....Lil O is in trouble soon. Oh the fights that are soon to begin, well they have kind of started already. When Ri grabs a hold of Lil O's toys that he has parked in a row he throws a fit and either tries to drag Ri out of the way or bonk him on the head but mostly rolls him away. Yup sign of things to come and it only brings memories of my older sis J back she was not the nicest while growing up (I guess she did not like always having to watch me)

Ri has started whole milk and it seems to be going down pretty good.

What have I been up to you ask...

PHOTOS, photos and more photos....

I have taken some baby shots, my niece T had an event at school so took some shots there and then I did a senior/grad shoot..... now I am doing some editing where it is needed...

here are a couple of baby shots I have taken: I use to baby sit this little guys mom when she her self was a baby, It is kind of weird that she now has her own and close to my own baby's age..lol





Off now to edit some of the senior/grad shots... well when it is dark that is. It is easier to edit without all the daylight flooding the house.

Mummy does not get it ..... oh wait she does....

Lil O comes to me the other day and he was pointing to his wrist, I thought did he hurt himself...nope.. so I watched him more closely and he was moving his hands them pointed to his wrist again. I said mummy does not get what you want. So he does this again and then points to the TV and says time. Then it clicked he wanted to watch his Signing Time DVD

He is signing lots and speaking while he does this. He still does not say much or any sentences but he is getting there.

Homemade Diaper wipes

I made some and now I know what I am putting on my kids butt.

I really did not know about this till I was watching my morning breakfast show and they had a guy on showing how to make your own organic baby wipes, I thought awesome because Lil O is prone to rashes and the alcohol in the store wipes sting his butt. I have been using them for a week and I really like them and they smell good too.

Here are the ingredients you will need:

Recipe:

Anti-fungal Baby Wipes
1/2 c. distilled water (pre boiled water)
2 tbs. vinegar (helps discourage yeast)
2 drops tea tree essential oil
1 tsp of baby shampoo
Diaper liners
container for wipes
Glass jar

To prepare, use a glass jar with a tight fitting lid. Pour all your ingredients in, cover the jar and shake to blend the ingredients. Place your wipes in a container and pour on enough solution to moisten them. Store any extra solution in the fridge. It should stay fresh for a long time especially if you used distilled water.

You can also add in
1 Tbs calendula oil (great for rashes)
1 drop lavender essential

Herbal Solutions

The basic recipe for wipe solution will do good job of cleaning your baby's bottom, but you may want to use a herbal solution to add some extra soothing and diaper rash treatment properties.

The herbal ingredients that may be added to the solution have different properties that help protect your baby's sensitive skin and / or promote healing of diaper rashes.

Calendula This herb commonly used to soothe the skin and reduce inflammation. The herb is helpful for people who suffer from skin rashes and sunburn. Calendula helps to soothe inflamed tissues, reduce pain and aids in quick healing of cuts and abrasions.

Aloe Vera The gel from the Aloe Vera leaf is great for healing and relieving burns and rashes.

Tea Tree Oil This oil readily penetrates the skin and is useful for treating burns, scrapes, bites, stings, and various skin irritations. It may also help to prevent or treat yeast infections. Very effective fungicide, antibacterial and antiseptic.

Lavender Lavender added to salves and creams promotes healing and as an aroma additive eases tension, tiredness and feelings of depression.

St. John's Wort Helps promote healing and has anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties.

Comfrey Helps relieve inflammation and promotes healing.

I am in shock to say that

I have 2 friends that are either getting a divorce are breaking there engagement.

The friend that is ending her engagement was struggle to do so for a while, they fought to me which was more then normal. I told her that I did not think he was the one, they did not seem like a match (another person just told her this too) I also so said that this will be your life you guys fight about 70% of the time and it is not going to change when you say "I do". I said to her that she really needed to figure out what she wants, either way I will back her up. Over the weekend they went away and I guess he was rude, mean and threating to her.....I then asked her if her decision was made her response....H*LL YEAH! We are done.

That make 2 engagement for her and no wedding, I really hope she find that guy the one to make her smile laugh and to let her be her.

My other friend, I was taken by total surprise that her and her dh has separated and lawyers are involved and a big custody battle for little C (the 22m old dd). I know just before x-mas the were have some "issues" but wow never saw this coming....makes me sad.

I can not imagine breaking up with my dh, I just can't. I told him I am not going anywhere and he said well I guess your stuck with me then....

Well we finally did it

Ri is in his own room now, sleeping ever so peaceful at the moment.

DH was home because it is "Family Day" here today and we moved the spare bed to the basement room. I cleaned up Ri's new room pulled out all the 12 to 18m clothes (my boy is growing). I struggled with the crib to take it apart to move it from my room to his (too many angles to move the whole thing) and not to help matters either Lil O or the cat kept trying to go under the crib....a cat and a 2yr old are pretty much the same....CURIOUS.

My room looks naked now, empty, hopefully I will be able to sleep.

I forgot to take a photo, I will do that when he wakes in the morning.

Yeah this is my boy all right...lol this is his "new" thing lately. He loves to pucker up.

I was playing with my camera and the he started to do this so I took the shot did not think about the settings.

The Fertility Clinic called and Dr S wants me to do yet another day 3 blood test(Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH)) she is not liking my numbers on the last two. I wonder what is my body up to now...

You know trying for a baby is truly a journey in its self and I if I have a DD I sure hope she does not have to go thru all this......I can only hope right. Atleast she will have mommy's history of it all.

I am SOOOOOOO EXCITED

New gear for my Canon......I am getting the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II, Canon EF 75-300mm F4-5.6 III USM

I am also getting an Epson Stylus Photo R1400(wide format Printer) and I just got a new tripod off ebay.

My dh is a sweet sweet man....He told me to get them all now because he saw me debating what to get 1st...lol He also said this is my b-day last x-mas and this x-mass gifts...I am so fine with that...Have to remember that we also just bought a new mini van 2005 Grand Caravan SXI so I have got a lot in the last 6months.


Hoping to get them all TOMORROW!

We are in the deep freeze here....brrrrr

Hello O

I think I am going to O tonight I have been achy on my Right (wrong side, not that that matters)

But I am in a tough spot because if we bd tonight and get pg then I most likely will have the baby in early August and well I am to be a maid of honor in my friends wedding Aug 9th and well I can not walk down the aisle and have my water break....or during the ceremony or photos...would that not be a sight to see...not.

Look Who's 10 months

He is growing like a weed. Weighs about 20lbs and 28 inches long. Ri sits but still topples over. He rolls all over but still not getting up on he hands and knees. Has said mama and dada, also copys sounds he hears. Four teeth in total 2 on top 2 on the bottom. He has been sleeping 8 to 8.5 hrs a night (has been for a couple of months) The temper this little boy shows when he can not reach what he wants or when big bro takes a toy from him, his plants his feet on the ground and he lifts his butt up and down while screaming....quick temper, what am I in for.

Ri loves food, when he sees mommy getting his dish or bottle he lets me know that he sees it wants it NOW. He still eats the mushed up food he is slowing getting the hang of bigger chunks not so much gagging going on now..lol. Loves to munch on the baby mum mums.

My boy is grown so fast and it is so neat to see Ri and Lil O interact with one another...Big Bro is getting a little moody though.

IV hurt....

Went for my 3rd IVIG treatment and the nurse the put it it HURT (well pinched more then normal) so I new my arm was going to be sore later.

IV was start I was enjoy my quiet time and then 2 other patients came in. One lady I remembered from last yr she was in (still is) in the process of adopting a baby she is hoping for a newborn the other lady I have not seen before came in with her niece whom had a video (Journalism student) she was doing a document on her aunt to bring awareness to the cost of some of these different treatments. Thru out the interview I heard the aunt say how much her treatment cost and this is no lie.... for one month (2 treatments in that month) cost her out of her pocket just over $36,000 for 1year it is just over $400,000. She and her family had to sell there farm amongst other things to pay for the one year she is now alost out of funds and these treatment is not covered for her. Once again this is were things become unfair because her illness was not something she brought on herself and there is a treatment that is helping her live and yet they will not cover her cost of treatment.

And then you have people going out getting their breast enlarged or a face lift for there own satisfaction and this is covered....something is wrong here.

The treatment I am on for 10months can cost up to $90,000 like I said it is only still a trial here and this is the only province that you don't have to pay for it yet.

When my IV was done they took out the IV it hurt and bled a bit longer then normal and my hand is all bruised. This morning my veins are very very sore.

This is it, this is where I go once a month for my Treatment while TTC and PG.

The small bag with the green clamp on it is the IVIG the other is just salin (I think) The small the bag the more expensive it gets is what I was told.

I am loosing it....

and here is why. We are TTC#3 and can I remember to take any pill that I am suppose to.....Why am I forgetting? AF has arrived and I have to refill my clomid prescription I called the pharmacy so they would have it ready when I came into Walmart. I went to Walmart got some stuff that I needed walked around a bit paid for everything and go home. Well I forgot about the clomid till a friend said something that trigged my memory and that I was on day 3 which is when I am to start the clomid and I forgot to get it while at the store and that was the main reason why I was there.....(slap me on the forehead) I hung up from my friend called Walmart they were open till 9pm. I pack up the boys again get the and pick up the clomid (60$ for ten little pills). I get back home get the boys ready for bed dh comes home we get to chatting and he reads Lil O his bedtime story. I then tidy up the house have something to eat (9pm) put some laundry away then I get on the computer to edit some photos, I go to bed a 12:30am.

Wake in the morning and what do I realize...I FORGOT TO TAKE THE PILLS....Arrrrrrg!

I go for my 3rd IVIG on monday and then we stop till I become pg hopefully in the next month or two I don't want to have the IVIG to spread out.

Happy New Year

I hope it was a safe one for all.

We ended up going to my sister J for dinner, did not plan on staying to later. Well Dh got to watching movies and me, my sister, mum and my nephew's girlfriend and my nephews went downstairs to play Wii. What a great game/s we did dancing,which I sucked at 1st then got use to it and started to beat everyone so we played some sports and we were all laughing and having a great time. Lil O was running around full of giggles Ri was up in daddy's arms sleeping it was after 10pm. Well we got home at 4am...lol. Lil O did great was not cranky at all but he did fall asleep on Gramma at around 1:30am while my sis and I played the wii.

It was a fun night. I did bring my camera but forgot all about taking photos as we got into the games.

My New Years Resolution is to get outside more with the boys this year and stop being such a HERMIT. Take more photos, have FUN.

Lil O was good this year as he new how to open gifts, he was all for it..lol. He still does not get the Idea of Christmas, I don't make a big deal out of it I have not said anything about Santa other then getting photos with the big guy. I don't want him to start to think that it is all about Santa and GIFTS. I really did not spen much this year either for the boys infact a few of the stuff was given to me for them so I saved them for xmas, the boys don't know any better...right..

Crochet Cozy Cover for Klean Kanteen..

I switched my son from plastic cups to the Klean Kanteen (stainless steel). I found that when I put a cold drink (water, juice) into it that it was pretty cold to hold in my hands let alone my sons so I came up with a crochet pattern and his hands are happy now.

Kanteen Cozy Cover (for 12oz kanteen)

Materials needed:
G/4.00mm hook
Bernat cotton yarn 4ply 50g
Elastic hair band.

Work in rounds.

RND 1 Ch5 join with slst to form a ring, ch3, 13 dc in ring join with slst to ch3 (13dc) ch3 turn

RND 2 dc in same st as ch3, 2 dc in each dc sp join with slst on top of ch3. ch2 turn (27dc)

RND 3 hdc in same st as ch2, hdc in each dc join with slst, ch2 turn (28 hdc)

RND 4 hdc in same st as ch2, hdc in each hdc join with slst ch2 turn (29 hdc)

RND 5 dc in next hdc sp skip next hdc sp *2dc in next hdc skip next hdc* repeat from * join with slst ch2 turn.
(NOTE: from here on you need to have 29dc/hdc/sc for each rnd to end, ch2 does not count as dc)

RND 6 dc in 1st dc *2dc in the middle of the 2dc skip next space* repeat join with slst ch 2 turn (29dc)

RND 7 dc in each space join with slst ch 2 turn (29dc)

RND 8-10 repeat RND 5, 6, 7 at end of rnd 7 ch2 turn (still should have 29dc)

RND 11 hdc in each dc join with slst ch2 turn (29hdc)

RND 12 With elastic hair band you are going to sc it into the pattern join with slst, cut and weave yarn in leave enough yarn to weave into pattern.

Should fit snugly on your 12oz Kanteen.
