A gift from Lil O

Lil O did a drawing for a girl in his class (he did one the other day to but I did not realize he did that one for a girl too, so I did not get a photo of it) This one is for Ella the other was for Ashley. He even made the frame for it.

another tooth gone

Lil O lost another tooth while at school and apparently swallowed it. Guess he was in tears thinking he was going to choke on it and to top it off Tooth fairy would not come because the tooth was in his belly, I said she will still come tooth fairy knows these things happen. The School gave him a plastic tooth holder to help the tooth fairy

1st Mothers Day gift from Lil O

Lil O's gift he brought home from school, he was so proud to give it to me.
Mr T must of hide them from me on Tuesday since I never saw the plants when I went in to volunteer.

I have had it since Mothers Day and it still has not bloomed so I am not sure what I am growing here. The main thing is that it is still alive (I do not have the greenest thumb around) But Lil O keeps checking it to to make sure it has enough water.

And so it begins

the Toothfairy will visit the house tonight. Lil O lost his tooth and he is so proud.

He was showing how wiggly it was and it was pointing straight out at me so I ask him if I could feel it and then pop it was in my fingers which surprised us both, then all the memories of my dad pulling my teeth came flooding back..lol  I did not think I could do it but I did.. :)

The boy can shoot

we went to Drumheller yesterday and I let Lil O use my old Digital Olympus UZ2100 I am impressed. I just let him go and this is what he shot I only sharped for web. the camera was on auto.

And he plays

sort of....... This past Monday we had soccer again and finally the weather was nicer then the last weeks. Lil O did not even want to play last week and he was whining not wanting to go on the field unless I was with him but that was a problem because I had Ri and Si with me (surprisingly Ri stayed off field and just sat and watched while he was covered with the blanket) anyways the game/practise was cut short because of the snow and rain that started to fall on us all. When we got home I talked with Lil O (trying not to show my disappointment because really I should not be) and then it hit me I knew how to get him on the field to at least try and play without whining and without mommy or daddy standing next to him. Grandma had giving him and Ri a plan to build and fly.... well I told him that if he play next Monday we will build the plane and fly it the next day. 
SO all week he kept bringing it up and saying that he was going to play soccer and not be shy so we can build the plane. Monday comes and we all start to walk to the field and as we were walking down the hill guess who wipes out...Lil O. well I thought the was the end (dh did to) and Lil O was crying and all dramatic Dh looked like he was ready to turn and take him home because he scratched his knee, I said no we will still go and watch (thinking he is not going to get off that easy) buy the time we got to the field he was better and was ready to play. Dh was walking Lil O onto the field and Lil O turned to him and said "Dad why are you out here with me go sit" Dh turned around sat next to me and said guess I am not needed...lol I said no he just really wants the plane.. 
 Lil O did awesome and he had tones of fun, kicked the ball a few time almost scored a goal even all the while a big ole smile on his face. He would even run by us and give the thumbs up or wave.

School Daze.....

Well today I took Lil O to register him for kindergarten.

He was all hyped up thinking he was going to go a build blocks and learn things (thanks to daddy) But I told him no we are just going to sign you up so when you turn 5 that is when you go to school. As we were leaving he started to think that I was going to drop him off and leave, again I had to explain to no we are just signing you up you are staying with mummy.

Get are coats of while Ri guy is screaming his head that he wants to come with and not stay with daddy.... As I got lil O into the van and buckled him in he announced that he did not want to do to school because his shy and shy boys don't go (lol, where do they come up with these things) So I said well lets just go look then.

We got to the school and Lil O sees the school park and says "ooo the school has a park...hmm...thats good" I then asked so does that mean you will go to school now? his response.... yeah I guess.

Get into the school go into the office and the lady comes to help and informs me that they copier is broken and wonders if I can come back tomorrow of the next day Friday they have off. As she was looking over the registration she see his b-day and mentions that I may want to wait another year. I asked why he'll be 5 you want me to start him when he turns 6? She said well some don't do so well when they are that age.....meanwhile I am thinking what are you trying to say lady..... I then mention to her that I think he is ready he keeps asking to go he knows how to count and says his ABC I am pretty sure I know that my son is ready.
So she says ok. SO I will be going back tomorrow or Thursday so the can copy the birth certificate.

As we were leaving I let Lil O peek in the school he saw the gym and asked what it was and I explained and he seemed to get excited about that. When we were walking to the van he said he wanted to stay, I then again had to explain why he can go yet (feeling like a broken record) when I tried to get him into the van he braced himself so I could not get him in and starting crying that he wanted to stay (geesh how many times do and will I have to explain this to him..lol) Finally got him strap in and home ward bound.

Ouch

This is what happens when you Built a fort with the couch cushions between the table and couch think you can climb on top, well he fell threw hit his head on the table



so here he sits icing it and as the night goes on he thinks I need to take him to the hospital so they make him better.

Gotta get it

Out of the mouth of Lil O(4yrs): I'm not a girl I'm a boy and I play with toys when I'm a man I boom boom gotta get it.

his conversation with is dad tonight. I could not stop giggling.

I have to wonder sometimes..lol. Yes that is one of his favorite songs Boom Boom by the Black eyed Peas that and Womanizer by Brittany.... think I should be worried or all your daughters should be.....

ah boy will be boys....BUT WHY!

Well so much for a nice big screen downstairs my 4yr old decided to climb his chalk board to draw chalk all over it and if that was not enough he thought hmm I should drive my cars on it too. lets just say mummy was not so impressed with his art work this time around. The screen has a spot almost in the center of it and the corner is lifted a bit. Hubby managed to get the chalk off but not the tire tracks on the edges....lets just say counting to 10 is good...I sent him to his room he lost his bike and his favorite semi truck too for a while and he is not allowed downstairs for a long time.

Your not listening

I find myself chuckling a lot lately because when I take something away from Lil O for not listening he will go around and try to return the favor in trying to find something of mine to take away..... he just took my slippers and said I'm taking your slippers mom ...your not listing... He is still wondering around looking for more stuff as he just announced Mom I am still looking for things to take from you.....

My pride

Well the other day before I put the boys down for a nap I said to Lil O "maybe when you wake up momma can take some photos of you?" his response "ok when I wake up" SO what was the 1st thing out of his mouth when he woke...."You gonna take pictures of me momma?" Yes my sweet boy I am. He did so good to my little poser and of course Ri got in on it to (I knew once he saw big bro doing it he'd want to too)


And this is a snapshot of Lil O helping Ri jump off the couch for the 1st time yesterday.
Lil O has a few saying he say quiet alot lately:

"Maybe next time"
"When I am bigger"
"things happen"
"In a moment" this is usually when he asks for something and starts of with "in a moment we can go out to the park...."

ABC

Today I thought about ABC with Lil O and when I sang out ABCD...(I paused) and he sang the rest my jaw hit the floor.......when did he learn this????

Oops loosing it already....

I forgot to mention that when I put the boys down for there nap I normally put Lil O's diaper back on (he only has it on when he sleeps) well being so preoccupied I forgot... well he slept 2hrs without incident, he woke calling out to me that he went in his pants. I went in to get him and he would not walk, he was walking bull legged, I asked what he was doing he said he went in his pants (I am thinking yeah so why walk funny) then it dawned on me he did not have a diaper on so I felt his butt if there was bulk nope none just his boxers...then I heard him say oh poop poo so I hurried him to the potty he was all upset that he started to go in his pants I said it is ok I am sorry momma forgot his response "yeah mommy bad you forgot"... it all went where is was to go...in the potty.

I am so proud of my boy.

He is also really starting to use his imagination a lot, today he was stomping around and he announced that he was a giant as he stomped and marched around repeating I am a giant, here I come......

He melts my heart

Lately Lil O has been walking up to me gives me a hugs and says "I love you mom" to hear that is amazing.

While I was taking the shots I saw my son run to get his V-Tech camera and started to take photos too. In the corner of my eye I saw he was watching what I was doing the he took off again grabbed his box flipped it over and then placed his camera on it...his tripod I guess...lol he is thinking.



I went to get the photos off his camera (I know they were there because I saw what he took) Low and behold they were gone vanished somehow and this is upsetting me because he got so good shots and now they are gone...grrrr

Lil O's Way of thinking on Chrsitmas....

Every time he see a toy that he'd like to have at the store or on TV he says "Christmas gonna give it for me" I say maybe I don't know..... When he looks at the gifts under the tree he asks "Have to wait till Christmas" when I say yes his response is "Oh okay wait till Christmas ..ok"

I will have to try and record him saying these for keepsakes.

Where's Ballerina

Went to Costco the other day with my friend C and as we were walking around Lil O kept asking "where's Ballerina?" I was like Ballerina who? I do not see any Ballerina's, then I starting to think how does he know about Ballerina's? hmmm. Then it clicked as my friend C walked away again and Lil O asked once again "Where is Ballerina going?" Ah C is Ballerina (Ballerina rhymes with C's name)..lol. When C came back I mentioned to her that she is now Ballerina...we had a good chuckle from it.

Well I finally got around to Lil O's b-day party stuff (B-day was in Sept). Here he is with the camera we bought him for he day, he is almost as attached to it as mommy is to hers..lol


And this is the only time I will let him shoot his brother...

Ok try again......

We went grocery shopping today and as usual Lil O said hi to EVERYONE and then you'd hear a little echo of Ri saying hi too. When people said hi back that is when Lil O would announce that he had a race car then hold it up to show them. Well at on point I stopped in the Isle to look for something and a lady was reading one of the items (she had it in her hands)a few feet away. Lil O said Hi then waited a moment when he did not get a response back he said "Hi" again only a bit louder, he repeated this a couple of more times then he stopped...then I heard him say "Ok lets try this again, HI" I started to laugh and that is when the lady turned and looked at me and then at Lil O and said Hi back.

98% of the time people do say hi back. He also saw some kids and said to them "Hi boy, HI" At one point a lady stopped to say hi and she said that she had a couple of twin granddaughters his age, she looked at O and said would you like a girlfriend...lol
