A few goals for 2012

Cook better meals (I hope too) Do more activities with the boys (should be easier now that Si is older and not napping as much) Take lots of photos and I mean lots of family including myself..(I did not take to many of the boys in 2011 which is not good) Organize my photos and make photo books, update my Blog at least weekly AND lastly get into a regular workout schedule again get my body healthy and my boys.....They can be done and will

End of an era

Hormonal mess

I am a total mess, my moods or horrible, I feel it raging within me I'm boiling  about to explode not to mention these hot flashes..... Pre-menopause SUCKS! I feel like scream & crying....... My boys must think I am one crazy syco mummy.

The boys fell asleep in the van so I just drove around since I had to get Lil O in 30min and stumble upon these homes....beautiful....HUGE...I would not want to be the one to clean them Homes....like 10min from my home.

Yeah sometimes I think oh it would be nice to live in something like that...then reality hits..... don't get me wrong I love my home now.

The Boys are excited I bought these yesterday, Lil O was Happy with his Star Wars ship sandwhich and they keep asking when I will make the cookies.....well I could of today but daddy dropped the eggs.  Guess what we are having for breakfast on the weekend...Star Wars Pancakes.

another tooth gone

Lil O lost another tooth while at school and apparently swallowed it. Guess he was in tears thinking he was going to choke on it and to top it off Tooth fairy would not come because the tooth was in his belly, I said she will still come tooth fairy knows these things happen. The School gave him a plastic tooth holder to help the tooth fairy

Ri asked if the world will be ok because the sky was on fire... this is what we saw this morning:

mmm Muffins

Made some Oatmeal Raspberry Banana muffins today got the reciepe off of pinterest, most important the boys seem to like them.

Oh so tired

Si was eating and as I watched he slowly sank down and laid in the position and fell asleep.

Lil O 1st day of grade 1

goodness it is hard to beleive that my boy is in grade 1, I have mixed emotions...We have never really been apart for more the a couple of hours and now his is gone for 6hrs (other then when his brothers were born we've never been apart) and I am looking forward to the break ...lol

He was pretty excited and nervous too, he will do fine. I try not to get him to worked up about it.

RIP Johnny

My sister laid John's (her husband) ashes to rest today, she was not quiet ready but her boys wanted her to so they could have a place to visit their Dad.

Yum Coconut bars

 Coconut Bars


bottom:
125ml ... 1/2 cup butter
125ml ... 1/2 cup brown sugar firmly packed
250ml ... 1 cup flour


Cream butter, brown sugar and flour together. Press firmly into a buttered 20x30 (8x12) pan.
Bake just above center at 160°C (325°F) oven for 20 minutes.
*make sure it does not brown.






Top:
250ml ... 1 cup brown sugar firmly packed
30ml ..... 2 Tbsp flour
2ml ...... 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2ml ... 1/8 tsp salt
2 .......... 2 eggs (beaten)
5ml ...... 1 tsp vanilla
250ml .. 1 cup shredded coconut (200g bag) 


Stir together brown sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
Beat eggs and vanilla, stir in dry ingredients. Beat until light.
Spread over partially baked batter 
Sprinkle with coconut.


Bake just above center in 160°C (325°F) oven for 25 minutes or until meringue is brown. 


Cut into small bars while warm then let cool

enjoy.

It's a Wiggly party.......

We won tickets to see the wiggles. It was fun lots of energy Jeff was not there he had Heart surgery so Brad was in his place. 
Lil O showed some excitement to seem the Real guys on stage, Ri well not to excited but at least he had a smile on his face and then my Si guy was all smile and giggles and was clapping along trying to sing.
