Premonitions

Ever have these? Well I had two withing 24hrs, and this freaks me out!

1st was of Ri falling from someones hands....... fast forward 24hrs to DH holding Ri last night he stood up and then Ri did a twitch and wiggled from DH's hands and Dh lost his hold on him and all I can say is thank g*d the couch is soft and was near, Ri is fine dh and my hearts are not.

2nd was today of Lil O, he was playing and I was sitting down and then it hit a vision of him falling on his head and his neck was all twisted...... would you not know it that 45minutes later I am feeding Ri and Lil O was playing on the couch and off he goes head 1st his little head bent totally to the side that it streached his neck then he fell onto his back into his toys, once againg my heart stopped and Lil O is fine he had a crying fit but all is fine.

sometimes you just have to pay attention to those little warnings in your head.......

Well I did it, I finally tided up the front yard garden pulled some well lots of weeds clipped off the dead part of my lilies. I forgot to take a before pick but I am got to it because I am going to the flower store (Sunnyside) to get more perennials to plant up front tomorrow(I will take a pic tomorrow)

Both boys were napping so I took advantage of it.

Ri needle update

2 month needle

The appointment was for 12:50pm. Dh took an hour off work to watch Lil O so I did not have to bring both boys with me (plus Lil O would of probably freaked, thinking he was back for another poke) .

Ri now weighs ~ 3.78kg (8lbs 5.5oz) he was 4lbs 2.2oz at birth
Height ~ 52cm (20.5inc) he was 16.5 inches at birth
Head Circum ~ 37.5cm

He is almost at the 50% for his adjusted age.

He was not to happy that he had to get naked, and just before I took the diaper off he left a gift...lol
They weighed and measured him. I asked the nurse to look at his head because I thought that the one side was looking "flat" she said that it was just a bit and then asked me about his tummy time. Well tummy time is a bit hard with big bro running around and everytime I lay Ri on the floor Lil O wants to jump around his little bro's head if not that he throws his toys on Ri to play with or he wants to hug and kiss yank and pull. So the tummy time Ri gets is in his bassinette which I think he is tired of. The nurse said the head does not start to form hard till about 4months, I guess I need to really give him more tummy time no matter what.

The Nurse then pulled out the needles had me hold Ri in my lap facing out towards her and she took his skinny leg in her hand and squeezed it to be able to get the needles in (I am still amazed at how long they are) well he did scream and cry out for all three shots then as I went to cuddle him to me he queited right down and looked up at the wind chime she had, she was impressed witht that and said most 2m old do not notice the chime. We went and sat in the waiting area for the 15min waiting period after the needle. There was another mom there having here baby girl weighed and she was 15lbs (I thought she was about 4m old) well the mom commented on Ri and asked his age then I asked her about her DD and well her DD was 2m old aswell at 15lbs! Wow. She laughed and said she makes chunky monkeys.

Ri has been sleep pretty much of the time since we came home. So looks like he may take after his brother.... I hope.

2 months old

ALREADY!

He is grown so fast, it seems faster then what Lil O grew. Ri goes for his 2month check up and 1st round of needles on May 25 (should be fun) I look at him and I am still yet amazed once again that I have another perfect healthy son... I am blessed.

Orion update:
What a little boy he is turning into. Talking more along with signing the words, I am so amazed at how fast he has been picking up on signing.
He signs and says;
Eat, milk, car, bus, shoes, ball, cat, dog, thank you, please, sleep, baby, more.... I know there is more he signs but I can't seem to think of them at the moment. I am trying to get videos of him signing as well.

He also seems to have a shoe fetish lately (I have a photo somewhere I will post later)

Orion will be intruduced to the potty this week

I seem to be falling behind on the photo department of Ri and then some, I need to organize myself better. I start one thing and then tend to wander off on to another without finishing the last then I end up with too many things on the go, which drives me crazy. Which leads me to join a group of bloggers called Tackle it Tuesdays, where I have to tackle one thing on a Tuesday I have to post a pic of the before and then a pic of it done.

I also joined a photo site called Photo Hunters, yes I seem to be adding more to my list of things..lol

Things I need to tackle:

~ Organize my E-bay selling stuff and move them to the basement.
~ Organize my scrap booking stuff and bring to the main floor (easier access for me so I can actually work on some pages....I hope)
~ Go thru my photos and select one to print (which is too many)
~ Clean out the basement
~ Clean Ri's and O's rooms (go thru there clothes)
~ The yard, pull weeds plant some flowers and what not.... (I am jealous of my neighbours yard... very jealous)
~ Clean the deck
~ Find out where I can dump our old T.V and microwave.

I am sure there is more

Well I need to go and pump... yup still doing that but I have cut down on it, slowly stopping.

Dh bought me a mini Digital camcorder, he gave it to me on mothers day.

backtrack here:

I woke up on Mothers Day not expecting anything from him (he grew up not celebrating these kind of days) I am slowly getting use to it and realizing they are just another day (I will get into that later) so my day was good I get the boys ready to go for dinner to my Sis J house my mum and other sis H are there too and the rest of the family. I get in the door and my sis H takes Orion and disappears I think nothing of it..lol... she and O come around the corner and he is caring a plant, me being clueless was not thinking it was for me (I thought it was for my mum, I am use to giving not receiving) I then said OH this is for me...lol
Dh arrived a bit later and as he was getting O ready for supper dh asked me to go get a bag out of the car because it should not stay outside, I thought nothing of it and went to get the bag. When I opened the trunk of his car there were a couple of bags and I thought to myself great which one so I look in the bags the 1st was a yellow one then I realized a Best Buy bag and then I saw it, the digital camera... my dh made me very happy at that moment because he finally surprised me.
So be for warned that you will be seeing lots of videos in the near future, I have to play with my new toy right?

Well I kind of did tonight, we had some friends over (D,S, & C) and watched Spiderman 3 well they did I was out like a light I did not even hear them leave, dh laughed at me when I woke..lol

guess I am tired.

Wordless Wednesday

Hope I did this right this is my 1st post for Wordless Wednesday:

Still struggling to keep

pumping or not. I feel so guilty when I think about stopping. It is just so draining (no pun intended) I feel guilty because I was able to pump for lil O for almost 6 months, and feel guilty because Like a fellow Bogger (citygirltales) says "I love giving my baby breastmilk. But I hate what I have to do to get it. I will probably always regret that I have to give her formula, but I won't regret no longer having to be chained to the pump for hours a day, or having to listen to or see her squealing happily alone on her playmat while I sit three feet away bonding with a pair of plastic cones"

I hate how it takes away my time from my babies and I hate having to stop in the middle of things to pump, time my day outs around pumping, I practacly fall asleep at the table while I pump. And with summer coming I do not want to be attached to something when I should be outside playing with my boy(s).

Just how much longer should I continue on with it it the question.

I will admit that I feel like my dh would think differently of me for stopping (that is just me thinking that) which is wrong because he says whatever I want to do is fine with him, Ri has already got the best part of the breastmilk and the formula is not so bad now.

Dr update on Ri

He now weights 6lbs 1oz as of May 1st

If only I had my

Camera on me, because you had to be there to see it.

I took Lil O for his second Flu shot on Apr 30th and well it was like he new what was coming.
I was caring Ri and Lil O was walking next to me and as the Nurse walked around the corner Lil O grabbed my leg and started saying Noo no nooo. I said it is ok come with mommy and as we followed the nurse to her room Lil O was still saying Noo no nooooo, we get into the room I sit him on my lap and when the nurse said hi to him he started to cry and cling on to me (I was feeling bad at this point) so I hugged him close while he started to cry NO NOOO no. The nurse bought out the needle and Lil O got a bit of a glimpse of it and well he turned and was trying to climb me or he was trying to crawl into me. I had to hold his arms down and the Nurse also held his left arm down ( I too was a bit amazed at how long the needle itself was) I watched her put it in and it bent some (must be a flexible needle) and then it was over Lil O was not impressed..lol.
(This is where the camera would of been nice to have) When we were walking out of the room into the waiting area Lil O was holding his arm walking with his head down somewhat and whispering see sniffle see sniffle see sniffle sniffle The others in the waiting area looked at him and I even felt the sympathy from them for him..lol.

All was forgotten later on in the day.
